The history of "Śnieżka-Invest" Sp. z o.o. begins in 1946. At that time, a new, Polish company called "Śnieżka" was established in place of the former German "Hochwald Schokoladen Fabrik" company …
This is the year which the beginnings of the brand currently known as Śnieżka-Invest, the brand associated with excellent taste, highest quality, traditional and unique recipes and magic date back to.
Why magic?
Well... During the first production years in our magic Śnieżka worked a young, able and ambitious woman named Janka Sajkiewicz-Miodek (a relative of well-known prof. Jan Miodek). Janka served as a
process engineer when the recipe of a certain exceptional sweet, which remained unnamed for long, was developed. Legend has it that a certain Michał fell in love with Janka. Every day he would stand
near the plant gate, waiting for the girl and to honour this love, the flagship Śnieżka product was called Michałki. How much of this story is true? We do not know. Janina herself used to claim that
this was just a legend and she didn't remember any Michał, but just a moment later, with a slightly concealed smile and a dreamy glance should would add legends should be believed in, because in spite
of being fanciful stories, each of them had a grain of truth to it…

But it’s not the end yet... There is something more, which will put a smile on your face and which surrounds Śnieżka with magical glitter we owe to our most loyal consumers, namely
children, as well as local patriotism. We specifically mean the children living in Świebodzice, where Śnieżka is based. Nobody knows who began telling those tales. We even don't know
exactly why and it is this mysteriousness which makes the story a bit more magical. Tidbits and sweets have always been associated with Christmas and by the St. Nicholas, since, after
all, no gift package can be devoid of sweet accents, which our beloved children ask us for. It is precisely the children of Świebodzice who believe that Śnieżka is the Saint Nicolas'
Factory and it is there he makes sweets puts them in gift packets...So, welcome to Śnieżka-a factory, in which magic begins...
